Chocolate peanut butter NICE cream

You scream, I scream, we all scream for NICE cream! I’ve seen a lot of posts about NanaBar nice cream recently and they all look delicious! So delicious in fact that I had no choice but to make my own as I couldn’t get myself to a NanaBar soon enough. This recipe is super simple and tastes so creamy and decadent that you wouldn’t know it was healthy! Perfect for impressing your friends at a dinner party, or just eating straight out of the food processor because you can’t wait long enough to freeze it…

  • 4 bananas, frozen and cut into chunks
  • 80g coconut cream
  • 4 tbsp peanut butter
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 4 tbsp almond milk
  • Drop of vanilla extract

Serves 4 – 6

  1. Place everything into a food processor and blitz for a couple of minutes until the frozen banana has broken down and the mixture is completely smooth.
  2. Line a loaf tin with a couple of layers of cling film, then pour in the nice cream. Pop into the freezer for at least 20 minutes.
  3. For best results, remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving. Top with chocolate shavings, a drizzle of peanut butter and some flaked almonds.
