You scream, I scream, we all scream for NICE cream! I’ve seen a lot of posts about NanaBar nice cream recently and they all look delicious! So delicious in fact that I had no choice but to make my own as I couldn’t get myself to a NanaBar soon enough. This recipe is super simple and tastes so creamy and decadent that you wouldn’t know it was healthy! Perfect for impressing your friends at a dinner party, or just eating straight out of the food processor because you can’t wait long enough to freeze it…
- 4 bananas, frozen and cut into chunks
- 80g coconut cream
- 4 tbsp peanut butter
- 4 tbsp cocoa powder
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 4 tbsp almond milk
- Drop of vanilla extract
Serves 4 – 6
- Place everything into a food processor and blitz for a couple of minutes until the frozen banana has broken down and the mixture is completely smooth.
- Line a loaf tin with a couple of layers of cling film, then pour in the nice cream. Pop into the freezer for at least 20 minutes.
- For best results, remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving. Top with chocolate shavings, a drizzle of peanut butter and some flaked almonds.
