HAPPY: My skincare favourites

As you can probably tell, I love Sukin. I discovered this fabulous brand in a local natural health shop a couple of years ago and I haven’t looked back since. Sukin is an Australian brand that sells natural skin and hair care products, all of which are paraben and sulphate free, and the results are amazing. What’s more, the products are genuinely affordable and easy to find, despite being an Australian brand. And no, they’re not paying me to say this, I just think they’re fab!

So I thought I’d quickly run through some of my favourite products from my daily skin care routine:

  1. Cream Cleanser, 125ml – £8.10

This cleanser smells amazing! I use it to cleanse my face first thing in the morning and then again in the evening to remove my make-up. It’s my favourite of all the products I use and the one I use most often.

  1. Micellar Cleansing Water, 250ml – £7.95

This lasts for ages! I squeeze a little onto a cotton wool pad every evening and use it to gently remove my eye make-up before cleansing. It soothes the skin and feels really refreshing on the eyes, plus it works a treat on waterproof mascara.

  1. Oil Balancing Pore Refining Facial Scrub, 125ml – £9.99

This scrub is from their Charcoal range and uses jojoba beads and bamboo charcoal to gently remove impurities from the skin. I use this once weekly, massaging it into the skin for a few minutes before removing with a muslin cloth and warm water.

  1. Super Greens Facial Recovery Serum, 30ml – £15.99

This little power serum is packed full of green goodies that lock in moisture and detoxify the skin. With extracts of kale, spirulina, parsley and avocado oil, this heavenly little bottle will work wonders on the skin. Best used after cleansing and before moisturising.

  1. Antioxidant Eye Serum, 30ml – £16.30

This eye cream is beautifully smooth and gentle which is exactly what is needed for such delicate skin. I place a small amount on the ring finger of each hand (this is the weakest finger and therefore great for massaging around the eyes) and make small circular movements along the cheekbones and round above the eyebrows.

  1. Moisture Restoring Night Cream, 120ml – £16.28

This night cream is the best one going. It’s thick and creamy and feels lovely when massaged into the skin before bed. Rose hip and evening primrose oils up the elasticity of the skin and keep you looking hydrated.

  1. Hand and Nail Cream, 125ml – £8.10

This is the only hand cream I’ve ever really liked. It’s not too thick or greasy and it contains both soy protein and vitamin E to strengthen the nails and keep your hands soft. I put it on every night before bed, massaging it into my hands and cuticles.
